About this speaker
Dr. Chongo Mundende is an associate professor of public health in the School of Nursing and Health Professions at Langston University in Oklahoma, where he teaches biostatistics, epidemiology, research, environmental health, global health, public policy, and ethics. His research interests are in childhood health and nutrition, utilization of health services, rural development, international migration, water and soil management. A member of the Youth, Pathfinders, Adventurers, and Children’s Ministries (YPAC) Council in the Oklahoma Conference, he is an elder, Sabbath School teache at the Edmond Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is Grace Mundende’s husband. Together they have seven children (including Cwo sons-in-law) and two awesome grandchildren, Belita Grace Young and Wilhelm Thomas Mwenya Young.
